Paddling in France will be split into three distinct sections.

1. The French Canals
Here's a first look at my route from Calais to Port Saint Louis on the Mediterranean. The numbers on the map represent the number of between-port days it takes for a pleasure boat along the 700 mile distance; 28 days in total. There are over 200 locks and I will be making the voyage mid July, along with summer vacation boat traffic, so, allocating five weeks sounds more reasonable. And then there's the wine of course.
